THE HEADSCRATCHER

Insurance is a highly emotive subject. It’s all about the what ifs, the heaven forbids…the chance of things going wrong. At the end of the day, it’s about trust. Feeling reassured that the insurer will take care of things and deliver, and in doing so, remove the worry of leaving things to chance. Allianz needed a film to talk about their Mazda Extended Warranty and the peace of mind associated with having everything covered. Animation would have been too cold and unrelatable – it would have sold the benefits of the warranty but would not have been able to convey the “experience” of what it’s like to have peace of mind. 

THE BIG POSITIVE IMPACTS

We produced a film showing drivers using lucky charms to keep their cars running smoothly. Taking you to the conclusion, with a Mazda Extended Warranty you won’t need to rely on luck. The film was a light-hearted, naturalistic approach designed to fascinate and intrigue people into the narrative. More ad than explainer video, it tapped into the quirkier side of human life, creating an empathy that could never have been achieved through animation.
